An extraordinary moment in my first Cannes Lions visit - seeing The Nobel Prize winner Maria Ressa take the stage to speak. A true hero, she spoke with strength and compassion and I'm sure I'm not alone amongst those present that evening to say her overflowing emotions touched me deeply.

Pacing the stage and racking up some number of steps during his talk he ripped apart current marketing practice and creativity as being product oriented when they should be turning 180 to be market oriented.Simple message, smart advice.
