How to Make Good Gravy Round Steak in Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I love our good gravy recipes so much. I have used this flavor combination with pork, chicken and beef. Momma came up with the base recipe I use for all of these recipes. I love how simple it is to throw this (and all the good gravy recipes) together. Without a ton of work, you have a meal that gives you a really good gravy. 😉
This recipe uses round steak. With round steak being a cheaper cut of meat, I like to cook this recipe low and slow. It doesn’t take all day to get for tender since you cut the meat into serving size pieces, but with cooking low for 5 to 6 hours, you end up with fork tender meat. It is so yummy! If your meat isn’t fork tender, give it a little more time. You will know it is done when your fork can slide through the meat easily. Then it is time to enjoy!
